Modularly designed for upright (screw moving upward) and inverted (screw moving downward) mounting, they are available with linear travel of stationary screw and rotating screw, with a flange nut mounted on the screw, offering linear travel. Besides the standard thread at the screw end, optional accessories such as mounting flange, clevis, and hand wheel can also be supplied. Motorised units are also offered.
Though currently being offered with lifting force 10kN (1 M Ton) to 100kN (10M Tons), units outside of this range can also be offered.
















Travelling nut screw jacks are also known as rotating screw jacks. The component configuration for travelling nut screw jacks is not the same as that of translating screw jacks. In this design (travelling nut screw jack), the lead screw is fixed to the worm gear and rotation of the worm gear causes rotation of the lead screw. A flanged travelling nut is placed on the lead screw and it translates along the lead screw when the worm gear rotates. The load is carried by the traveling nut which is generally made of bronze material for improved durability. The linear travel speed of translating nut depends on the thread size, pitch and rotation ratio of worm gears. Travelling nut screw jacks are ideal for applications where the physical space does not allow the lifting screw to extend below or above the housing. Rotating screw jacks are also useful when it is not possible to fully guide the load.







The configuration of translating screw jacks differs from that of travelling nut screw jacks. In translating screw jacks, the trapezoidal lifting screw (also referred to as the lead screw) travels up and down through the gear housing. This linear motion is caused by the rotating bronze gear which is rotated by a worm shaft. The worm gear is threaded to accommodate the lifting screw thread. The gear housing provides a contained volume and mechanical support to hold the external forces applied on the lead screw and housing. The worm shaft can be turned by an electric motor or manually with a handwheel depending on the load, torque to be applied on the shaft and type of application.

Gate drives are used to move gate leaves with heavy weights. Electric geared motors with a chain connection to the drive wheel are mostly used. The gate leaf is set in motion via a travel button and the necessary electrical control.

Leaves/Panels are guided/suspended by Telescopic assembly which has rollers in vertical and horizontal axis and a suspension system to ensure trouble free door operation. The suspension system is designed to take care of deflection
